Christopher Dewayne King and Shawn Michael Wisnieswki – Charged with First Degree Murder, Arson, Abuse of a Corpse and Destruction of Evidence
On September 18, 2018 Terry Woodall of 1200 Swiney Road of Adamsville Tennessee in Hardin County was reported as a missing person. Terry was a resident of the Hardin County community for approximately 4 years. He was Raised in North Georgia and survived by his father and mother Dennis and Jane Woodall of Roam Georgia. He lived at 1200 Swiney Road with two roommates Shawn Wisniewski and Christopher King. Further investigation lead by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department and later joined by Agents of the TBI found Terry Woodall to be deceased. The remains of his body was found in a burn pit on the property of 1200 Swiney Road. The crime scene was excavated by Dr. Ben Figura of the West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center in Memphis Tennessee and members of the University of Tennessee forensic Anthropology Department known for their research on the Body Farm and Agents of the TBI and Investigators of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department. On Monday July 20, 2020 the Hardin County Grand Jury returned an indictment for First Degree Murder, Abuse of a Corpse and Destruction of Evidence on Chris King and Shawn Wisniewski. Chris King is currently being housed in the Wayne County Correctional Facility in Waynesboro, Tennessee awaiting arraignment before Circuit Judge Creed McGuinley and Shawn Wisnieski is housed in the Hardin County Correctional Facility in Savannah Tennessee awaiting his first court appearance in the Circuit Court of Hardin County.
